We hope the following information will help with your upcoming visit and answer some frequently asked questions.
The hotel will be temporarily closed between 2nd February – 14th April 2025 whilst we complete an exciting refurbishment project. During this time, you will still be able to book a self-catering stay in Saundersfoot at our Hotel Apartments and Village Apartments.
By Car
The M4 motorway is 40 miles from St Brides Spa Hotel, bringing Saundersfoot within easy reach by car from most parts of the UK. Drive along the M4 motorway west to Carmarthen, where you will take the A40 to St Clears. From here, take the A477 towards Tenby. At Kilgetty roundabout, take the A478 to Saundersfoot. Stay on the A478 until Twy Cross Roundabout at New Hedges. At the Twy Cross roundabout, take the first exit left. Continue down St Brides Hill (approximately 1 mile) until you seethe Hotel on the right.
N.B. Satellite Navigation users should be aware that St Brides Spa Hotel is in Saundersfoot, South Pembrokeshire and not St Brides Bay in West Pembrokeshire.
By Train
Main line trains travel to Swansea with connections to Saundersfoot and Tenby. We recommend that you stay on the train to Tenby as this is a main station as opposed to a platform in Saundersfoot. From Tenby (Saundersfoot is a request stop), you can take a 5 minutes taxi ride to the hotel.
By Ferry
Stena operate from Rosslare to Fishguard. Irish Ferries sail from Rosslare to Pembroke Dock.
By Air
Scheduled worldwide connections are available to Cardiff International Airport, which is 90 miles from the hotel.
Hotel Rooms & Hotel Apartments:
Car parking is complimentary for visitors and hotel guests. Car registration will be requested upon arrival.
Village Apartments:
Complimentary car parking is located at The Village Apartments (limited to one car per apartment).
Hotel Rooms & Hotel Apartments:
Check-in is from 3.00pm on the day of arrival and check-out on the day of departure is at 11.00am.
Village Apartments:
Check-in is from 4.00pm on the day of arrival and check-out on the day of departure is at 10.00am. Check in is at main reception
Occasionally, we may be able to accommodate an earlier check in, but this is subject to availability on the day and cannot be assured in advance. Late departures are by prior arrangement, subject to availability and may attract an additional premium.
Guests wishing to drop off their luggage before their room is ready may do so with the reception team.
Access to the Thermal Suite and the Hydrotherapy Pool can be booked in advance by calling +44 (0)1834 812304.
Guests staying overnight at the hotel enjoy a complimentary 90 minute session with each night of their stay. Additional sessions can be booked at a discounted rate. Hotel guests are advised to make their bookings in advance of their stay as our Spa is likely to be fully booked by the time of check-in.
Visitors and guests staying at the self-catering St Brides Village Apartments are also welcome to book sessions for the Thermal Suite & Hydrotherapy Pool for a discounted rate.
All dining reservations must be booked in advance, this also includes breakfast for hotel guests.

Please note St Brides Spa Hotel does not accept cash or cheque payments. Payments can be made contactless via card.
Payment is required either prior or at time of check-in for all room bookings.
A £50 per stay, credit/debit card deposit will be required at the time of check-in for guests staying at the Village Apartments for incidentals.

We welcome everyone to our venues, regardless of any additional requirements they may have. We understand that everyone is different and, as a responsible organisation, we endeavour to provide an inclusive and accessible environment for all.
As you arrive at St Brides Spa Hotel, you will find 3 parking spaces outside the Hotel’s entrance which are reserved for blue badge holders. The car park itself is level and runs directly up to the front door.
To enter the hotel the front door has push pads to allow for ease of access.
St Brides Spa Hotel has one accessible room. This is a best non-sea view room, which has the following:
The captivating views of the Cliff Restaurant and Gallery Bar are fully accessible via a ramp to the left of front desk.
The event spaces on the ground floor are level or ramp access.
The Cove, located on the first-floor management suite, is typically accessed via stairs from the entrance. It can be accessible via the accommodation, please ask a member of the team to assist with directions.
There are accessible toilet facilities located opposite front desk.
The spa is accessible via a ramp and there are four treatment rooms that can be accessed directly from the ground floor area. The thermal suite, hydrotherapy pool, relaxation rooms, dual treatment room and some shower and toilet facilities are accessed via a chair lift. A member of the spa team will show you the facilities and assist with access to the thermal suite and hydrotherapy pool.
A dedicated accessible toilet and changing area is located on the lower ground floor near the foot of the chair lift.
Access to the thermal suite is on the same level and there are steps with a handrail into the shallow end of the hydrotherapy pool . Please note, however, that no hoist available.
We welcome assistance animals to the hotel; please note, however, that for the animal’s safety, the hotel will not permit any animal in a ‘wet area’ of the hotel.
