Booking Terms & Conditions


General

Rates & Prices

All prices are quoted in British Sterling and include Value Added Tax (VAT) at the prevailing rate. In the event the rate of tax changes, this will be automatically reflected in the price charged.

Rates shown are lowest available, based on two adults sharing a standard twin/double room. Bookings are subject to availability. Prices will vary depending on day and accommodation type selected.

During your visit, contactless payment can be made via card. Please note that we do not accept cash or cheque payments.


Check-In & Check-Out

Hotel Rooms & Hotel Serviced Apartments:
Check-in is from 3.00pm on the day of arrival and check-out on the day of departure is at 11.00am.

Self-Catering Village Apartments:
Check-in is from 4.00pm on the day of arrival and check-out on the day of departure is at 10.00am. Please check in at the main hotel reception before making your way over to the Self-Catering Village Apartments.


Cancellation Policy

Hotel & Hotel Apartments:
Flexible Rates - The hotel’s standard cancellation policy requires that any cancellation or amendment to a flexible reservation must be received 48 hours before arrival in order to avoid a penalty charge. In the event we are notified any later than this, you will be charged for the full duration of your booking. In the event of non-arrival the full rate, or first nights’ accommodation will be charged.
Prepaid Rates - Reservations made on an advance purchase rate (where the payment for the stay is required at time of booking) are non-refundable and non-transferable.

Village Apartments:
Flexible Rates - The Village Apartment’s standard cancellation policy requires that any cancellation or amendment to a flexible reservation must be received 7 days before arrival in order to avoid a penalty charge. In the event we are notified any later than this, you will be charged for the full duration of your booking. In the event of non-arrival the full rate, or first nights’ accommodation will be charged.
Prepaid Rates - Reservations made on an advance purchase rate (where the payment for the stay is required at time of booking) are non-refundable and non-transferable.

Please refer to your booking confirmation for details of the cancellation policy which applies to your booking.

Please note that group bookings are subject to different terms and conditions, which are detailed in the group contract.


Children

St Brides Spa Hotel is a child-friendly hotel and welcomes children of all ages. A range of family room types are also available to reserve should you wish to enjoy more space.

The following policy applies to all areas of the hotel, all employees and guests either resident or non-resident. This policy is implemented to ensure that The St Brides Spa Hotel is demonstrating due diligence in achieving part 4 of the Licensing objectives; “the protection of children from harm” as stated in the Licensing Act 2003.

  1. Children under the age of 16 are to be accompanied by an adult at all times in our licensed venues.
  2. For the purpose of this policy, the definition of accompanied is; to chaperone and continually supervise from a close distance. For example: sitting at a table with them.
  3. After 9.00pm, the Duty Manager reserves the right to ask children to vacate the public bars if this is deemed appropriate to the business. If there are children behaving in a particular manner and affecting the experience of our other guests the Duty Manager may decide to exercise this right.
  4. Children under the age of 16 years old are not permitted in any of our licensed venues after midnight even when accompanied by an adult (save when attending a private function).
  5. At no time are children allowed to sit or stand at the bar unless the accompanying adult is waiting to be served.
  6. ‘Home Alone’ – No child residents under the age of 14 should be left alone in your family bedroom. Your children remain the sole responsibility of you as guardian or parent.
  7. We do not offer a babysitting service.


Pet Policy

Dog Friendly Stays
Guests are welcome to bring well-behaved and house-trained dogs to stay in our Hotel Apartments and Village Apartments at a £15 surcharge per dog, per night. Dogs are not permitted in hotel bedrooms.

Dog Friendly Dining
Bring your four legged friend for breakfast, lunch, afternoon tea, dinner or drinks when dining at The Gallery Bar or any of our outdoor terrace including the Lobster Club.

Please note that website images reflect the general style, decor and layout of the room type; subtle variations may exist across actual rooms within the hotel or apartment.


Christmas & New Year Bookings

Full payment is required at time of booking accommodation and is non-refundable, non-transferable. Additional nights are booked on a bed and breakfast basis only. Please note there is a minimum 2 nights’ stay over 25th December.


Gift Vouchers

Payment by gift voucher is only accepted if the physical gift voucher is presented upon arrival. Vouchers are redeemable from the date of purchase until the outlined expiry date.


Complaints and Comments

Any complaint or comment regarding a stay at St Brides Spa Hotel should be made in the first instance to the hotel’s duty manager at the time of your stay so that it can be resolved at the time. Problems which cannot be resolved there and then should be notified in writing to FAO Hotel Manager, St Brides Spa Hotel.

Dining

Restaurants & Bars

Please be aware that children under the age of 16 are not permitted in our restaurant, lounge or bar unless accompanied by a dining adult.

The St Brides Spa Hotel may provide a separate private dining area for groups. This will be confirmed to the Group Leader. Please refer to code of conduct and dress code in relation to your dining experience. We ask that noise in the restaurants be kept to a minimum for the comfort of all our guests.


Dining Reservations

We would respectfully ask that you are ready to be seated at the time of your reservation. Your reservation will be held for 15 minutes, after which time it may be released to other guests. Please be advised that during busy periods tables may be required more than once during service. Your allocated dining time will be based on your reservation time and number of guests and will be advised to you at the time of booking.


Special Dietary Requirements

It is essential that we are notified of any specific dietary requirements prior to your visit to ensure that we can cater for you appropriately. If you have not informed us at the point of booking, please contact the restaurant to discuss your requirements with a member of our team.


Dinner Inclusive Packages

When booking a dinner inclusive package for your stay, each adult will receive a three-course dinner, please note that some dishes carry a supplement. Restaurant dining reservations are subject to availability. Dinner allocation can be taken between 6pm - 9pm.


Cancellation policy

Card details are required on booking and are held as a guarantee. If you need to cancel your booking, please use the link in your booking confirmation email. If you do not cancel 24 hours prior to arrival your card will be charged £20 per person.

Selected special dining events require full payment at the time of booking, and these payments are non-refundable and non-transferable.


Deposits

In the instance you have prepaid a deposit for your dining reservation, then this will be used against the final payment of your bill. All deposit payments are non-refundable and non-transferrable, this payment is based on the total number of guests in your party at the time of reservation. Should the number of guests in your party decrease, we regret that individual payments cannot be refunded or credited against your final bill. Credit Card Guarantee – Credit card details will be used to secure your reservation, a non-arrival payment of £20 per person will be taken from this card in the event that you do not arrive for your booking. Cancellations within 24 hours of the reservation will also incur a cancellation fee of £20 per person.


Spa

Spa Bookings

Please arrive 15 minutes prior to your appointment to allow time for the consultation process. Late arrival will result in loss of treatment time. All treatments and access to spa facilities must be pre-booked and paid for in full at the time of booking, cancellation policy of 7 full days prior. If cancelled outside this time, all monies will be refunded within 5 working days. The Spa reserves the right to cancel treatments if payment is not received in advance. Please inform us of any allergies, injuries, or any medical concerns that the spa should be aware prior to your arrival. Robes and towels will be provided.

Please be advised, we have male and female therapists.

The minimum age for treatments is 16 years. We cannot accommodate babies and children in the treatment rooms or the relaxation areas. Guests under 18 years of age must be accompanied in the spa at all times by a supervising adult over the age of 18 years. One adult may supervise a maximum of two guests under 18 years.


Special Events

Tickets are non-refundable and non-transferable.

Lost, stolen or damaged tickets are not the responsibility of The Celtic Collection and will not be replaced. Ticket holders assume all risk and danger incidental to the attendance of this event and releases the promoters, The Celtic Collection, event sponsors, participating players/performers and all agents thereof from any and all liabilities arising out of such cases.

The holder of this ticket grants permission to the event to utilise the holder’s image or likeness incidental to any live or recorded television or other transmission or reproduction in whole or in part of the event.

The holder of this ticket agrees not to transmit or facilitate transmission of any account, description, picture, or reproduction of the event without the specific advance written permission of the sanctioning bodies.

Tickets may be revoked without refund for failure to obey all posted signs and instructions of event officials, marshals and/or security personnel.

This ticket is intended for use by the original purchaser only. Tickets purchased other than from The Celtic Collection or its authorised agents are invalid, will not provide you with admission to the event and may render the user liable to legal action.

All ticket prices are inclusive of VAT.

Only food and drinks purchased at St Brides Spa Hotel may be consumed during the event.

St Brides Spa Hotel management team may alter or vary the programme, performers and timings without consultation or compensation.

If this event is cancelled for reasons beyond the control of St Brides Spa Hotel's management team, St Brides Spa Hotel nor The Celtic Collection will not be liable for compensation whatsoever, other than a possible percentage or maximum refund of the value of the ticket to the ticket holder.
