Treatment Protocols

We are delighted that we now have the opportunity to reopen our Marine Spa for Selected Treatments.

We are monitoring the latest government and industry guidelines and are continually reviewing our procedures and risk assessment. Before booking your treatment we would recommend that you view the current protocols and measures we have in place below.

Pre-Arrival

Please find our selected treatment menu available to our hotel residential guests here.

All treatments should be booked in advance to avoid disappointment as availability is limited and will be booked on a first come first served basis.

Guests will be sent a confirmation email with a consultation form to fill in before their treatment date.

If you or any household member are displaying any symptoms of Covid-19 (these include, but are not limited to, a high temperature, a new and persistent cough and loss of taste and smell) we would politely ask you to postpone your treatment. If your treatment has already been booked please don’t hesitate to call us, where we would be happy to change your booking.

Arrival

Guests will be asked to have their temperature on arrival. If any temperature recorded is>37.8 degrees Celsius then the guest will be declined access to the Spa.

We kindly ask that guests arrive exactly on time for their treatment, where guests will be greeted at the reception of our spa and shown to their treatment room.

If you or any household member are displaying any symptoms of Covid-19 (these include, but are not limited to, a high temperature, a new and persistent cough and loss of taste and smell) we politely ask you not to enter the building.

Hand sanitising stations will be placed at the entrance of the spa, so we politely ask you to sanitise on arrival. A Perspex screen has be installed on the spa reception desk.

We encourage all guests to wear a face covering until they are escorted to their treatment room.

We ask that where possible all hotel guests arrive for their treatment ready in their robes, slippers and leave all personal items including jewellery in their rooms.

Guests should refrain from handling any retail products. A member of staff will handle any products guests wish to try or purchase.

Treatment

Therapists will have their assigned treatment room for the day and will have 25 minutes in between each treatment to fully clean down and sanitise the area.

Therapists will adopt a clean set of appropriate PPE for each treatment. These items may include disposable face coverings, face visors, disposable aprons and disposable gloves.

Refreshments are not available to guests in the spa area however therapists will offer a glass of water post treatment.

Whilst we aim to achieve a calming and tranquil atmosphere in our marine spa we do kindly ask that once you are dressed and ready to vacate your treatment room you depart the spa area as swiftly as possible. This is so that that we are able to maintain a low level of traffic throughout the spa and ensure that our team have the appropriate time to prepare for our next guests.

Whilst we understand things are a little different here at the marine spa, we will endeavour to make your visit as relaxing and tranquil as you would hope it to be in this difficult time.
